I am a media researcher, interested in the social role of anonymity, medical anthropology, and the prevention of online harassment. I am a PhD student at the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. “The Uncertain Decorum of Online Identification” was my MSc dissertation conducted at the London School of Economics. I was a founding member of the Cypurr Collective and have faciliated digital security trainings and cryptoparties since 2016.

From 2015 on, I have edited, freelance and in-house, at academic publishers and newsrooms for works on mathematics, medicine, art history, finance, and philosophy.
